A century-old family farm, a new generation, and a lot left to learn.
This land is part of Jason’s century-old family farm. Black Fish Farms is how we carry that tradition forward, and how we honor Selina’s farming roots too.
We farm with permaculture in mind: building soil, planting for pollinators, and letting the animals do what they do best.
We’re the first to admit we’re beginners. Every season teaches us something, and we’ll share what we learn.

Every season is a lesson.
Compost takes patience, ducks have opinions, and pigs are better at digging than any tool we own. We’ve learned to start small, observe first, and let the land lead.
To revive our families’ farming traditions by nurturing a resilient patch of earth.
We want chickens roaming, pollinators thriving, and soil that gets a little better every year.

Grown With Love On Our Farms
Corn, beans, and squash grow together in our garden, an old planting tradition known as the Three Sisters. Each plant helps the others, a good reminder of how we want the whole farm to work.
